Hi Marvin,

Can you explain what the BrailleNote's registry is?

Thanks,

Chris

Subject: [Braillenote] Working with the Registry

Hi. I'm quite comfortable with the bn's registry now that I've used the
hack that saves cookies and temp files to the flash disk a couple times, but
there's one thing I can't figure out. I can't seem to find a way to save a
copy of my modified registry from within the mobile registry editor.
Without being able to quickly restore the modifications after a hard reset
occurs, I have to go and modify where the cookies get stored all over again.
This almost makes the hack pointless, except for the fortunate fact that the
files are still there on the flash disk. Once I set things back again, the
web browser picks things up where it left off, which is great, but I'm
hoping one of you knows either where I can find the registry file on my bn
so I can back it up and just copy it back over after a hard reset, or if
there's a way to get the mobile registry editor to save me a copy somehow.
If there isn't a way, then I'll just have to live with it. At least I can
restore the cookies location manually. Thanks.
