Hi,
I have never heard of this before. In regards to the word processor, I have had situations where I edit the document on my Apex, then edit it on my laptop, then if I don't save it to word 2003 format, it appears as if I have nothing in the document except an indicator, yet the text is there on my laptop. This problem isn't new, it's been around with the mPower as well, it happens with word 2007/2010. If Humanware put in better word support, maybe we wouldn't have that problem, although I do appreciate the work they have done so far for the BN in general, but if they could put in more updated features we need as users, we would be much happier.

Subject: [Braillenote] File Management Question

Hello, all.

I have noticed something interesting when saving files with my Braille Note
QT32.

Here's the background:

I have my BNQT32 set for dot doc files in the Word Processor mode. After I am done with a file containing notes from a meeting, for example, I save the file to a thumb drive for future editing and/or reference. If I then go to my thumb drive, open the file up on my office computer, do some editing and then save it, I end up with two copies of the file on my thumb drive. One copy is the original unedited file, and the other copy is the newly-edited
file. Both files are in dot doc format.

Does anyone know why the duplicate file is created after bringing the original file up on my PC? Is there a way to prevent this from occurring?

Thanks as always!

Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan
