Try unplugging the ac adapter and then removing the battery.
leave it like that for about 10 seconds and then plug it all back
in again.

Hi all,
Sometimes, my BrailleNote (an Apex BT, running KS 9.2) simply
won't turn on. It doesn't respond to anything, including resets,
and this can happen at any time (definitely not just when the
BrailleNote has run out of batteries). Eventually (generally
after about ten minutes or so), a reset will work and the Apex
will be back to normal, but I wonder why this happens and, more
importantly, what I can do either to prevent it from happening or
to fix it more quickly when it does. Any thoughts?
