Hi Tyler, Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but here's how I understand it. All through the 80's and 90's, and up until 2005, the company we know today as Humanware was called Pulse Data. They were a company in the US. Humanware was then a separate company which sold to Australia and New Zealand. In 2005, Pulse Data in the US murged with Humanware in New Zealand and decided to call the new company which formed from the merger Humanware. That's why their headquarters were in New Zealand. Then, in 2009 I believe, Humanware merged with another company in Canada which I can't remember the name of and kept the Humanware name. The headquarters were then moved to Montreal, where they are now.
Hope this helps, Chris -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tyler Sent: Monday, June 25, 2012 11:38 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Braillenote] Pulsedata vs. Humanware Hello! You know how from 2000 until some time in 2005, the Braillenote was made by Pulsedata? And then the Mpower came out, and it was called Humanware? Does that mean that all the way through the 80s and 90s they were called Pulsedata, and in 2005 they decided Humanware would be a better name?
