Hi, Yes of course - and you can type in contracted braille too with JAWS. The thing is: you need to be in braille terminal with JAWS using the Apex as a braille display in order to do this. Cheers, Joseph

Will an Apex with a Braille keyboard function as a keyboard for entry on a PC? I know it works as a Braille display, but I hope to learn whether one can type on the Apex connected to a PC using Jaws. The Apex would replace the standard Qwerty PC keyboard if this can work. This would be for a Windows 7 PC with the latest edition of Jaws 13 and the most recent firmware on the Apex BT. Thanks much in advance! ------ Jim Marks [email protected] ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
