Hi,
Few definitions:
* BrailleIn: A feature in JAWS 12 that allows users of braille displays with
braille keyboard to type text in contracted braille.
The driver here refers to BrailleNOte signed terminal driver from HumanWare
that was signed by Freedom Scientific.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hello all,

I'm not sure why, but I was under the impression that you could only
use the new signed BrailleNote driver, including support for JAWS
BrailleIn and typing in contracted Braille, with the BrailleNote Apex.
However, my BrailleNote Apex is currently on its way in for repair, so
I pulled out my trusty mPower and tried to use it with the same signed
driver.

To my amazement, it works! I am able to type in contracted Braille and
use the other features of BrailleIn. I presume this would also work
with classic BrailleNote units. For those of you who have not yet been
able to upgrade, I thought this information may be of use.

Best,

Grant
