It's almost certainly an internet connectivity problem if all these things are going on; the VoiceNote thinks it's connected, but it really isn't. Does this happen sometimes, or all the time? If the former, then unfortunately there is little I could suggest apart from chalking it up to just the way things work, and doing basic troubleshooting steps such as resetting the VoiceNote and removing and re-inserting the wireless card.
If the latter, I have to ask, have there been any changes made around your home or other place where you're trying to connect to the internet, such as upgrading your router, changing the security key, etc.? If so, you might have to go into the connectivity menu available in the options menu, choose the review a connection configuration prompt, and ensure that all your connections are set up with the correct password, security settings, etc.? Be sure your router isn't using any modern security protocols such as WPA2 as your VoiceNote won't support these - WPA PSK should be fine, though. These are the kinds of things you'll want your network techy to set up if you aren't familiar with them. Please let me know if you need any more details on any of these points, and good luck!
