Who chooses the words that are in a Braillenote's Spelling Dictionary? USA version is what I'm thinking of, for I live in the USA. Some words that you would never find in a dictionary are in there, like Jetsons (as far as I know, that's the name of a TV show I watch), Simpsons (another TV show I watch), Keylist (the name of a software product), but they don't have words like "merchandise" (which I'm pretty sure are heard in America). But they have odd dictionary words (like abatis, vitrify and xiphoid). Is it based on a specific dictionary? Remember, I said Spelling Dictionary; don't confuse that with the Concise; that obviously comes from Oxford. Tyler Z
