Hi fellow listers,
I've done everything I know how to do in order to fix this, and nothing works. I'll be using my mPower for about an hour or two off ac power, and the percentage will suddenly go from something like 50 or 40% to 5%. It'll start saying that the battery is low. Now, I know it's not actually low because it will still function for about three or four hours (two or more hours if I'm using wireless). This leads me to believe that there's something wrong with the gauge maybe. I've tried both letting it die completely, waiting a few minutes, and plugging it back in for a recharge, and also recalibration of the battery. Neither process has fixed this, and it's really annoying hearing "battery is low" for about two hours. The critical time doesn't seem to be affected by this oddity. It's only critical for the last thirty minutes or so. Can anyone tell me if I'm supposed to do one of those other recalibration tests to get this to stop? I have a feeling that my battery is still perfectly fine since it's only about a year old. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
