Yes the switching to and from keyweb trick works on the apex, but
just like the mPower, if you do a reset, the page will go away.

Hi all. Just wanted to let you all know about something a
friend, Kelsey, from this list, has shown me. This sounds
totally weird, but it works. I've tried this. If a download is
going to take you more time than you're willing to sit there and
wait, all you have to do is get to the options menu, then go to
the main menu. On a bt keyboard, that's space with o, then space
with all dots.
The bn will lag a little while the download is in progress, and
you won't see a percentage during this download, but you will
know when it finishes because you'll hear that error tone, and
your mPower will stop lagging. The only thing bad about
this method is that you lose your browser session, meaning if you
go back to the web browser with the shortcut command (backspace
with enter with i on a bt keyboard) you will only get the address
prompt instead of being where you were on your
webpage.
Speaking of getting to keyweb this way, I've noticed something
about keyweb, and have known it for a while now, but I couldn't
figure out how to explain it until now.
If you're on a webpage, and want to come back to it later
without truly exitting keyweb, use one of the other app
shortcuts, like the media player. Then go to the main menu and
do what you want from there. So long as you don't hit i for the
internet, keyweb will still be open in the background. To get
back to your current session without restarting keyweb, you MUST
MUST MUST use the quick app switch shortcut to get to it. If you
hit i from the main menu, there will be a pause, after
which you'll get the address prompt. If you switch to it as
mentioned, though, you'll be back where you left off before
switching to the other part of keysoft earlier.
You can switch back and forth between keyweb and other apps
this way as many times as you want, and so long as you don't have
to perform a reset before you get back to keyweb, the page will
still be there waiting for you to come back to it.
Perhaps I'm saying the obvious here, but those others of you on
the BNU Dev list, we should post these discoveries to the site
somewhere. They're useful little workarounds that allow us to
make full use of our web browser. I'm not sure if the
switching trick works on the apex as well, but if someone could
test this for the bn user community, it could be yet another
victory for us over the workings of Windows CE and Keysoft.
