It's not that someone is right or wrong. The bug is just a nuisance... :)

It may well be a bug, I'm just saying I see it a something hw did
intentionally. I could be wrong.

If it was meant to be a feature, then it's really nonsensical one. Because
if on my Windows 7, I open a blank document, name it something, go to
anoter
document with data written in it, select, copy, paste the data into the
blank document, the formerly blank document would still be there. However,
with the Apex, I chose the file type, gave it a name, created a blank
document, hit space with OU, opened another document, selected, copied,
and... the blank document is no more?
The feature is a fallible one.

I always thought this was a feature. If you create a document and put
nothing in it, the system assumes you did not want to save it after
all and kindly removes it. I am so used to putting a character in a
document and then deleting it that I don't even think about it
anymore.

Hi, I have also had this happen to me so what I do is hit space a couple
of
times before going out of the document. You can also delete the spaces
straight away and the document will stay there but for some reason it has
to
have some sort of change to it before it will save it.
Hope this helps,
