Hi Jessica,
Edit fields open up differently when using an external keyboard, which is
basically what the Apex is.
On the I-phone, try double-tapping on the edit field and see if the
on-screen keyboard works normally then.

Subject: [Braillenote] keyboard on iPhone gone after using braille display

I was using my braillenote apex to type text messages on my
iPhone. Then I decided that I wanted to use the keyboard on my
iPhone and not use my Apex anymore. So I turned bluetooth off on
the apex, turned the power off on the apex and locked and
unlocked the screen on the phone. The keyboard was still not
there. I could see all the messages I had just typed and the
responses I got back, but there was no keyboard. I closed the
messaging app and removed it from the app switcher. Then I opened
the messaging app again. My messages were there but still no
keyboard. What do I do now? How do I switch between using the
Apex to type on the iPhone and using the keyboard that is on the
iPhone screen? Thank you.
