Hi,
Confirmed. By the way, as a side effect, you can view ROM files by changing
the directory to /../windows. This is much simpler than printer settings
modification discussed earlier. Note that the above tricks applies only to
Apex users.
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. Next thing we need: a "dir" command output of root directory.

Subject: [Braillenote] Technical: How to view the licenses installed on your
BrailleNote Apex

Hi list. After many attempts, I have finally figured out how to get into
the licenses partition. This allows you to see what license files you have
installed on your machine. Although Technical Support denies that a user is
able to do this, it is indeed possible. Ironically, I figured out how to do
this shortly after emailing technical support. I sent an email to technical
support, asking them if it was possible to view license files. Later, when
I checked my emails, I got a response from a tech support person saying that
you cannot view installed licenses on an apex. However, you actually can by
following these instructions:
Warning- Do not delete any of the files in the licenses directory. Doing so
will probably deactivate features that you have purchased.
1. Go to file manager, and select "browse files."
2. When asked for a drive, select the flash disk.
3. When asked for a folder, press space with T to switch to directory mode,
and type the following:
/../licenses

Have a good night.
Josh
