Hi, apex users. On the mPower, it's possible to create a windows folder on the flash disk, then paste replacement sounds there. When a reset is done, the replacements cover the default sounds like a blanket, hiding, but not deleting them. Does this not work with the apex? If all you apex-ers need are the names of the sound files, I'd be glad to list them, assuming they're the same filenames an mPower would use. I'd do it in this message, but I'd like my question answered first so I don't give you false hope. P S to all bn users. I'm going to release version five of my playlist shuffler utility here in the next couple days. I've only made one change, but it's significant enough that I thought I'd release it. Those of you who've used this before remember that there's a link below the "Create Your Repeating Playlist" button which you had to click to initiate the loading of your modified playlist. Someone else's code on another webpage gave me the solution I was looking for to make things more automatic. The link will not be in this new version. Instead, when you click the button, you'll be asked if you're finished with your modifications. If you hit enter (it's a keyweb confirm prompt) the page will automatically load the new playlist thanks to some internal JavaScript coding. If you hit space with e or escape (answer no) you'll be free to continue working with the form and to click the button again later. Also, the name of that button has been changed to Modify Your Playlist", which makes more sense. The page title, which changes depending on your use of the shuffler, has also been changed likewise, since it's possible you'll choose to have files only play once. Unfortunately, preparation of the playlist for the utility to use is still necessary, and will be until HW or the Windows CE operating system allow web developers to use dynamic html, the process by which parts of the page can be changed without the whole document reloading. As a final note, I successfully guided Kelsey Trevett (from this list) through using the Shuffler using only keychat! If the rest of the bnu-dev team wants me to, I'd be glad to send the conversation I had with Kelsey so the site will have proof that keychat is invaluable to bn users as a communications medium. (It's also available to anyone out there who would like a copy if they can't understand my instructions in the utility itself.) Both of us felt great! I had taught Kelsey how to use something I created, and another person had gained understanding and the power to use a feature previously inconceivable on a bn of any model.
