It's worth a shot, as the update probably cleared out the settings that kept 
the apex paired. You should not have to enter the passcode again on the iPhone, 
just find the apex name and double tap it (this in the settings, general, 
accessibility, voiceOver, braille screen with the apex in terminal mode).
