Ah, maybe it's that emergency battery then. My question wasn't very
clear, but what I meant was that if you purposely change the time, and
then do a reset, it seems to synchronize it and find the correct time
and time zone even without any internet connectivity.

Yes, you're right - daylight savings status doesn't seem to get
synced, which is very odd. I imagine that they synchronize to GMT but
since they don't include daylight savings status, this is why it can
be messed up.
