Hi,
We'll see how HW would implement it, as there are possible hardware barriers
such as speed of SD cards and flash disk. Also, when dealing with text in a
file, it'd be quite tedious to open every file unless we have good filtering
options. But then again, I think in order to implement system wide search,
existing search function would need to be optimized, as the concept of this
feature would be expanded to cover all possible files and text strings.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi,
I've said this before and I'll say it again. Among the many things that I'd
like to see in a future Keysoft upgrade, I want the ability to do a
system-wide search for files, either based on filename or by a text string
that I know is included in a file. It's quite crazy-making to have to go in
and out of various folders in file manager, searching for a particular file.
If I could go into a Find dialog, tell it that I need the BN to search an SD
card, Flash disk or USB stick for a filename or text string, then let it
drill down through all of the folders and subfolders while I go off to do
other things, that would be great. I do this on my PC and laptop all the
time.

Tom
