I've got a comment about checking the size of a folder. Has anyone else noticed that, while connected to a computer, the flash disk shows up as a folder under the bn's device name? If you pay attention, you'll notice that those folders that are found normally on the keysoft system disk (ram disk) are there along with a folder called "flash disk". Does anyone else see this as interesting? Especially when one considers that any other peripherals that are connected, like an sd card or cf card, are also listed as folders. I'm guessing that our clever bn sees these as drives but treats them as a special kind of folder. And we can check the sizes of these possible folders, so why aren't we given the ability to check the size of, ANY, folder we want? In short, this would be a neat feature to have in the future.
P S. I have one thing to say about zip files. They're nice, but in my
experience, Rar files are much better-compressed. It would be advantageous if
the bn could switch to another archive format.
Sorry I sound so negative and/or critical of the work that has been done on the bn so far. I mean for my comments to mostly be observations and questions of curiosity that will make everyone think and take a closer look at things and how they work. I've always been fascinated by the inner workings of things. My favorite question about most things is "After careful observation, this thing clearly works this way. But how and why does it do so?". Everyone have a good day or evening. May the Force be with you.
