Hi guys!
I have one of these!
Basically it's a wireless cell phone modem. It uses the cell
phone networks to do internet stuff.
I am trying to use it with my braille note BT 32 mpower here.
It's the latest DBC build. Dbc version 1.06 build 35. Which of
course isn't very late I have the Ambicom wireless card that
works with the unit.
My problem is that though I can indeed get it to connect.
Nothing works.
I get errors when trying to connect to the pos server to do
email. When I try using keyweb it says Cannot find server.
But it IS Connected. It shows me connected on the little
doohickey. Says I'm on the network!
BTW this thing is NOT accessible at all.
I was curious as to whether anyone else had any experience with
the verizon jet pack. Also called a hot spot. Might it be just
to fast?
Any thought or suggestion as to how to get this working?
I'm just using the non preferred network configuration that comes
up when you try to connect wirelessly. Anything I could maybe
change? Certainly odd.
