I believe Grant, among others, also uses the Personal Hotspot
feature, so you might want to wait to hear from him as well.
And, remember, that we both had to change the iPhone's name to
take out that strange character where the apostrophe goes before
we could get the process to work. But, my settings on the BN are
as follows:
Connection Configuration name Vicky Collins's iPhone, device to
use wireless ethernet network connection, SSID Vicky Collins's
iPhone, use Infrastructure Mode yes, Authentication Protocol WPA2
Pre-Shared Key, encryption aes, 802.1X authentication level 0,
obtain an IP address automatically yes, use a proxy server for
this connection no.----- Original Message -----

Subject: [Braillenote] Apex and iPhone: clarification needed for
usingiPhone as router for Apex
Hi,
I'd like to receive clarification on using iPhone as a wireless
router for
Apex, namely wireless settings, types of authentication being
used and so
forth. The info would be used to create an article on the BN
Users website.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Joseph
