Oh, grin, I'm thinking this list change is seen as just one more way HW are pulling away from supporting the BN family. But, of course, you are right in that, for the most part, HW haven't participated on this list for years now. Anyone know if we are able to view the new list archives without having to sign into yahoo? I tried to sign in just a bit ago, but ran into one of those goofy captcha things. You can, though, when replying to a message on the new list, just do a reply and have the message go directly to the list, rather than having to do the reply all as on this list.

Subject: [Braillenote] List Transition

Good grief, folks, it's only a list change.
Not all manufacturers maintain their own mailing lists, and this list has
mostly been a community list for years.
I do think Humanware should be more active on it, no matter where the list resides. If nothing else, it would help their image with customers, which,
as you can see, could use some improvement.
I'm no fan of Yahoo, but generally once you're subscribed, it's pretty
low-maintenance.
Do I prefer mailman? Absolutely.
But I'm not sure where all this anger is coming from.
I'd imagine once the list moves, it'll pretty much function the way it does
now, just at a different site.
There are real-life inequities and injustices which could use some
well-directed anger, but this isn't one of them.
