Hi Louis,
I have an Apex so I am not 100% sure about this answer. I don't
think you can convert pdf files to text on the pk. If it did
work, you would have to have version 8.1 of the Keysoft software.
I took a cursory look at the humanware web site and I didn't see
a mention of 8.1 software for the pk. Someone else can correct me
if I am wrong.
If you do have Keysoft 8.1 software, then you can go to the book
reader and open the PDF file there like a book. It will
automatically convert the file to text. Or you can go to the
"file manager menu" and choose "convert pdf." Just follow the
prompts to convert the file.
If you can't convert on the pk, then you will have to convert the
file on a computer and move it to the pk.
Have a good day!
Debby

Subject: [Braillenote] Translate PDA files into keyword file
Sorry to trouble you again. I would like to know how to convert
a PDA file or attachment into a keyword document? Please kindly
give me the steps via email rather asking me to go to the braille
note users or humanware site. This is due to my machine
sometimes cannot open these websites. Thank you. Sent from my
