There is a wireless alert system being offered on some wifi devices. It seems as if many wifi enable phones are becom-ing able to provide emergency alerts to their comsumers.
I expect that The future for the Braillenote family is stuck in the present form unless an SDK can be released and simple apps can make this device more current.
