Hi. Does anyone know how to export or import the bn's registry to or from a reg file? I don't see any option anywhere in the mobile registry editor. Every time I have to do a hard reset, I have to go back in and fix where my cookies are stored,
which kind of defeats the purpose of having my bn remember that location in the first place. I wouldn't mind having to run a reg file to get my bn to change its registry after hard resets. But having to connect back up with windows mobile device
center is annoying sometimes. My pc seems to forget my bn after such a reset, and it wants me to set it up all over again before I can connect to activeSync.
The only shortcut I found is to tell the computer to connect without setting
up a partnership, then tediously find the cookies entry in the bn registry and
modify it so that my bn stores its cookies on my flash disk again.
Sorry for what seems like a rant of sorts, but I just had to ask if there was
an easier way of doing things. Thanks for the help in advance.
Oh, and what is this with batch files? Josh K, you said these can be run? Are you talking about .bat files? If so, aren't those just a group of cmd commands listed in a text file? And also, finally, can someone tell me how to get cmd to list its
commands, and how to output to a text file? Thanks again.
