Email hw support with this. The more interest they see, the more they might do something about it. That said, I don't know if we would have the developer base anymore, or if hw will even continue their bn line. I say this based on a few things: 1. The latest paid upgrade introduced one new feature, rather than the several we usually get for such a large amount of money. 2. Instead of updating the dbc (deaf-blind communicator) to work on the apex, they released an iOS app to do the job, cutting the bn out of that product completely. 3. Overall software developments seems to have slowed down over the last few years. 4. Modern devices like the iPhone are so accessible, do so much more, and are so much cheaper than a full bn that I wonder if hw is reconsidering the wisdom of continuing development. I have no firm basis for this, but I, personally, only use my bn as a basic wordprocessor and book reader nowadays, functions an iPhone or mac laptop could both do (and both support braille displays out of the box).
