Hi all braillenote mpower users,
For those of you that listen to midi files, the sound font on the
braillenote mpower might be getting annoying after a wile.
I found a trick on how to change the sound font.
Introduction.
There is a wince_gm.dls file in the windows folder on the ram
disk.
You need a replacement dls file that you need to copy to a folder
named windows on the flash disk.
If You have a computer follow these steps.
1. go to the run dialog from the start menu.
2. type the following into the edit box.
\windows\system32\drivers.
3.
Copy the gm.dls file to the windows folder on the braillenote
flash disk.
4. On the braillenote, rename the sound font file from gm.dls to
wince_gm.dls.
5. reset the braillenote.
The next time you play a midi file on the braillenote mpower, it
will sound like its coming from your computer.

sound font file.
