Hi Paula, Yep. You're correct, you can resave the document without the html codes. From the new file opened in the web browser, press space with s (control with s), select a drive and folder. When you type in the filename, just make sure you give it a .txt extension, like you would normally do when saving a web page. But the next time you come across an html file/email, you will have to open it in the browser.
I'm not familiar with msg files. What type of file format is that? If you would, could you please send me an experimental file to this address, fiberglasscane5termail.net so I may experiment?
