Hi Richard, Can't help much here except to say I've gotten that winsock error, along with some other ones including connection errors and "not enough storage" messages. As a rule of thumb, exit to the main menu, and press the reset with no keys held down and see if that fixes the problem. However, for this problem, like you've said, I've found that often I can just press space with e (escape), answer i to the query "hang up immediately or after current session". Then answer y to the query, "remain connected?" then press c from the keymail menu to connect to a service. More often than not, the rest of my email will download fine.
As for signatures, I send all email via my bn and I do have a signature. You simply create a file, and at the bottom of each message, enter the block commands menu by pressing space with b (control with b), and hit i to insert a file. Select the drive, folder, and filename, and press enter. After doing it 10 or 15 times your fingers do it automatically. I've even unconsciously done it at the end of appending things to essays and papers I've written, but thankfully have caught it in time. *grin* HTH, Laura "The most important job is not to be governor, or first lady in my case."
