[Braillenote] txt versus keysoft

Hi. I have been editing a text file. Whenver I exit the file by pressing 
escape, I am asked if I want to save the file as a key soft file. I think 
that is what they call it.
I always say no.
Is there an advantage of saving as a keysoft file or whatever it is 
called<grin>?
