Matthew you are a very smart person for not waisting your money or time on a 
braille lite.  Freedom scientific I believe makes the most unreliable 
equipment.  I have a 4.0 that I received when I took part in a research program 
with a university.  The braille lite crashes all the time.  The braille note 
has a much better operating system and a much better braille display.  It is 
also much more reliable as you have probably noticed.
