Richard, applications for the infra-red port that I know of currently
include, using it as a connection with a cell phone for mobile Internet,
using it with printers, using it with Palm Pilots and similar devices as a
visual display, connecting to a laptop or PC for ActiveSync and KeySync
synchronisation. So
