[Braillenote] setting up a directory of services

Hi, Everyone. I am sitting on hold with tech support, but thought I would 
ask this question here in case I don't get through.
I am trying to set up an entry in directory of services to connect through 
a network. However, when I press control space to change to the network 
card, it just goes back to the internal modem.
No matter what I change that entry to, it defaults back to the internal 
modem when I go back and look.
Any ideas?
