Speaking of ASCII file translation, I have a question about end of line
termination characters in the VN and BN. In my old Braille N Speak 2000
files are created with carriage returns only. Some files I get from UNIX
systems have line feed characters only at the end of lines. Most DOS text
files contain carriage return-line feed pairs at the end of each line.
What does the Voice Note and Braille Note expect or use as end of line
termination? Does it care if I import a file with just carriage returns
or line feeds? Should I preprocess these files to a particular
configuration before using them in the VN or BN or can it handle them on
the fly?
Thank you
