Hello, Notesters, On Friday, April 2nd, I added the 5 gig hard drive to my VN where it permanently resides. I am far more pleased with the amazing increase of storage capacity than I'm concerned with the minimal decrease in battery life. I simply keep the unit plugged in until I need portability. But then everyone has his/her top priorities!
