,dear List, I need to delete the greater than sign through-out a document and want to know whether there is a way to replace it with nothing, so to speak, other than the tedious way to find each one separately and delete it on the spot? I tried to use the find and replace facility, but only get an error tone when replacing it with the delete character command. However, that command works when using only the find feature, but then one has to delete every sign manually?
Incidentally, the greater than signs only appeared when i wrote that file out of an email message, in which it did not appear. Is there perhaps a way one can avoid that from happening? Thanks and regards Riana
