Hi everyone,
It would seem to me that the problem is that the file was a text document and 
therefore the bn was expecting text not contracted braille.  If it was me, I 
would probably just write in computer braille because even though it might slow 
down your writing speed, you don't have to worry about mucking around with file 
conversion.  If you want ! check what braille grade you need to use in a 
document you go to the opsions menu and choose g for grade of braille for 
keyboard entry.  If it says computer braille you can change it to grade 2 by 
pressing b or you can do this in a document by pressing backspace with b for 
grade 2 or backspace with j for computer braille.
