Hello listers, I for one am glad to hear that work is afoot to correct the gps
mark 2. Living as I do in a rural part of the UK, the system for me, and
surely many others, is virtually useless as it stands. I appreciate that much
may be corrected by changing the apparently 20 year old maps with more
up-to-date ones, but, in one route I wished to travel, the system told me to
travel 11 miles in a north easterly direction, instead of south west. Details
of this route, and others, I have already forwarded to Pulsedata and I
sincerely hope these proute details may help in providing a more usable system,
for surely, what we all want, is not necessarily our money back, but the
provision of the system we were promised. Good luck to all those working on
these corrections. Don Cooper.
