Actually, you *should* ask your co-workers to send in plain text, yes!
Why? Because one of Microsoft's security holes is that one can attach
a virus to an html page or email. If you send plain text email,
you're much less likely to get something attached. I suppose you
can't demand that your co-workers switch, but it would make a lot of
people's lives less stressful if HTML were kept to the web where it
belongs.
