Hi List,
I have just received a new disk drive, my third. I'm not writing to
complain about the quality of the disk drive, although judging by how many
drives I've gone through, that may be something PDI might look into.
However, I have noticed that this new drive's motor is a good deal more
high-pitched than the other two drives I've had, and the total of three I've
experieced using. They have all differed a little bit, but this one he most.
It doesn't sound grinding or particularly uneven, just different. I was
wondering if this could be a problem? If any of you have any thoughts, i'd
be greatful to hear them. Thank you!
