Dear List, I am finding that bracketed numbers in the e-mail subject line combined with the seemingly random placement of the bracketed Braillenote phrase are causing BN list e-mail threads to be separated in the MS Outlook sort. Take for example: Subject: [Braillenote] PCMCIA memory cards
When I sort by Subject, and then by Received, I get: Subject: [Braillenote] PCMCIA memory cards and then somewhere else in the sorted list there is: Subject: Re: Re[2]: [Braillenote] PCMCIA memory cards and again somewhere else in the sorted list is: Subject: Re[4]: [Braillenote] PCMCIA memory cards For those of you who are using MS Outlook, what is your experience with the sort? Do you think that the bracketed phrase Braillenote should always be either at the beginning of the line, or directly following the Re: at the beginning of the line. Note that new e-mail from the BN list is routed by MS Outlook e-mail rule to a BN List folder. Only BN List e-mail resides in the BN List folder. Any feedback would be welcome. Sincerely, Jerry Weinger
