Seems like your POP server may be down, or perhaps there is a problem with your ISP's dialup service. If you have a PC, try to dial in that way. If it doesn't work, then you know the problem is at their end. You can call your ISP and ask them if there are any outages. i use Concentric, and they often have a recorded message that mentions areas where there are outages.
