Hi Dean and List
I want to suggest strongly that consideration be given to afulfledged unzip
utility not only limited to bookshare files. On the bookshare site most of
their non-copyright books in brf or txt format can be unzipped with the bn and
it is actually mentioned on the site that any unzip utility could be used for
that purpose. However, i needed to read books which were scanned in by someone
and mailed to me as single zipped files, converted from ascii to save airtime
costs on a dial-up connection. Despite renaming the zip extention to bks on
detachment, it was unable to unpack and gave the error code 202.

The person also forwarded two brf books in zip format, (not bookshare
downloads) of which i could unpack one, but not the other.

I believe it is a definite need to be able to make use of a real unzip utility,
especially in employment where research is of the essence. I donT know
anything about other pda's, and how they handle zipped files, but this is
important for people who are dependent on electronic reading material.

Thanks and regards
Riana
