Hi Terry, When purchasing my BN, I was primarily concerned about my ability to type easily (which for me meant using a Braille keyboard). Unfortunately, I didn't consider the fact that I could use a QT as a communication device.
I *could* change the keyboard on my BN, but I love the Perkins-style keyboard. It feels more natural to me when typing. Even if TTY capabilities cannot be integrated into the BN, it would be nice to have a utility added which would allow two-way communication between the BN and a laptop. I hope to eventually save enough money to get a refurbished BN QT. That, or win one of PDI's drawing contests! <smile> Lisa
