I mainly use my vn's email for personal messages and the bn list, but due to the relatively slow downloading of email, not for other lists. However, I also find it convenient to store recipes on the vn, as one can use it in the kitchen whilst preparing dishes.
To be accessible away from the computer, I have also transferred my cd-index to the vn, but in ordinary files, as I already had the info on computer, and believe it to be more cumbersum to create a data base. The find function works just as well, if not more effective especially when one looks for a certain track or orchestral movement amongst more than 400 cd's. This way it's also easier to keep both vn and computer copies updated. I find email to work smoothly and will probably in any event not be able to use active sinc at home with linux, to send files to and from the pc. I use the address list mainly as address book for email and use the calculator mainly for budgeting purposes. Regards Riana
