Hi. Today at Office Max, they had a compact flash card with 512 megs
of memory on sale for $99. Is that a good deal? Also, they said that these
cards were made for USB ports and that this would not work in the
BrailleNote. That is what I figured when they mention USB. They did not
have any converters that would go from serial to USB. What does everyone
else use for compact flash and is this a good deal? Would I be better
served with another option. I have a 449-meg PCMCIA card which is filling
fast with textbooks and allkinds of class notes so I was thinking of my next
storage medium. I do have the super disk, but I don't like the hassle of
always having to plug that in and would prefer something that would plug
into either of my two slots, having upgraded to version 5. Any suggestions
are welcome and apologies if these options have been discussed recently.
I've only been on list for a couple weeks after a long hiatus.

Chris
