Thanks Andy, this is an excellent summary of the situation. Now that 
BrailleNote does a lot more, people's battery experiences will vary 
depending on how they use their machines. Someone who turns off the speech 
and uses the Braille display for word processing and book reading for 
example, with no microdrive connected, should get significantly better 
performance than someone listening to MP3 files.

The microdrives will drain a lot of battery life if left in because they 
are like a traditional hard drive in that they have moving parts.
