Dear Jane,

Put the cursor at the beginning of the line you want to center.  Press the
center line command, which is control with e or, if you have a BT keyboard,
press space with dots 2,3,4,6 then type the letter c for centering.
Correction:  you can place your cursor anywhere on the line you want to
center.
