How can I get my spelling checker to get into its mode more quickly?
Hi Dean, I wonder why it takes 11 seconds long to get my spell checker to
spring into action after pressing the spacebar with dots 1-6? It use to take
only what seemed like a split second and now that I am on 5'1 it takes an age
before it says "spelling checker menu"
I did a reset with 4-5-6 and went through the list you had sent Sandra
Tomkins, and at the ed you said that after pressing the reset button to go into
option menu and from the index menu check out the version and mine just says on
the braille display "version 5" although when resetting with the button it does
say "5'1" etc.
After all that, I would like to know how to get my bt bring up the spelling
checker up to it's proper speed. The other bt bn in the same house brings it
up within a second or two if that. I hope you can understand all that above.
Hope you can come up with a suitable answer, I did speak with Andrew at pde and
he was wondering whether to delete my email folders! The spelling checker menu
is slow no matter where or which folder or document it is to check , it is
actually slow in bringing the menu up! ah well lets hope you can come up with
