Help!
My problem began when the spell checker disappeared. My battery is
presently at 38 percent. I haven't been able to bring back the spell check
utility.
Today I decided to emboss a document. I was interrupted in the process of
setting the time and date earlier and forgot about that! My unit was in
Limbo till I did so. When I attempted to set time and date, I kept getting
bad entry messages even though I entered both according to the instructions
in the help file. I changed to computer braille and managed to get the
time in correctly. I couldn't get the date in right so managed to point to
the correct date according to the calendar. Once I got that set, I
proceeded to connect cables and emboss. I noticed the braille display was
not responding as I went through the menus. I tried going into a document
and I noticed the folders were simply reading stars across the display and
with speech. I couldn't hear the folder names at all! It finally started
to read the appropriate folder names but the one I read out of still said
stars. The file I tried to read only said something about stars. I tried
every reset in the book, reset date and time etc. Could it be my prosessor
has gone belly up? The braille display does not respond at all, it only
shows stars, dots 1, 6. It is really a mess! What should i do?
