I have always used my own home-grown calendar but have decided to move over
to the BN planner, as it has a lot of nifty options.
Upon doing so, I have a few questions:
1. Entering numbers. When entering numbers, the BN forces you to use
standard literary numeric braille. It seems to me that allowing Nemeth
numbers would make more sense, as you wouldn't have to use the number sign,
letter signs or spaces between alpha-numeric combinations. Is there a way
to allow this type of entry? If not, why? ?
2. Alarm repeat. The "alarm repeat" function could be useful but also can
be a pain. I have been in situations where the alarm went off and I was
unable to cancel it, although I heard it. The alarm will then continue to
repeat, based on how ever many minutes I set, and I can't find any way to
stop it. Can this be adjusted? I would like to have an option for "no
repeat" or something as simple as entering a 0 in the alarm repeat period
menu.
3. Alarm tone. The first two things seem more important but it would also
be nice if there was a way to change the alarm signal. That tone is kind of
unpleasant. Since the BN is able to execute other tones (and even play
mp3's) it seems reasonable that one could assign user-specific alarm tones.
